On June 9, you will turn in your CAS log for the year.
Where a school is required to submit student CAS records to the regional office, the records required will include up to 10 sample pages from the student’s ongoing documentation (within CAS Log).
These sample pages must include a list of the principal activities undertaken and evidence of both planning and reflection.
It must be possible for the IBO evaluator to tell:
owhat happened,
owhy it happened,
ohow it happened,
owhat its value was, and
owhat the student learned from it.
You need prepare one sample page for each of the following 8 outcomes, and one for your sustained project demonstrating teamwork. The tenth page is for the outcome of your choice.
Each entry should connect to at least one of the eight learning outcomes:
1. Increased their awareness of their own strengths and areas for growth
2. Undertake new challenges
3. Planned and initiated activities
4. Worked collaboratively with others
5. Shown perseverance and commitment in their activities
6. Engaged with issues of global importance
7. Considered the ethical implications of their actions
8. Developed new skills
Your final task will be to submit your 10 pages with a cover page with your name and IB candidate number, by email to JH.
Since your CAS log also provides evidence of completion of Activity and service hours for Grad transitions, you should provide a total number of hours for each.
