Your next due date is April 9, when you will submit a correctly formatted bibliography or works cited list including at least 4 viable research sources for your Extended Essay. Before you send an email copy to your supervisor and me, indicating the reference style you have chosen to follow, you must check your document with Mrs. Quinn, our teacher-librarian.
You should choose to use MLA (Modern Language Association) or APA (American Psychological Association) reference style. MLA is most commonly used when writing papers or doing research in the liberal arts or humanities. APA is more commonly used for scientific and social science papers. Specific details about how to list your resources can be found on the
GNS library page, which includes links to the excellent Purdue University online writing lab website.
